Our Fees For Family Mediation
At Empowered Resolutions, we are committed to providing professional, supportive, and cost-effective Family Dispute Resolution services. Our goal is to make the process as smooth and straightforward as possible, with transparent and competitive pricing to meet your needs.
Please note that our fee schedule is inclusive of GST and we do not charge any extra for s60I Certificates (if required).
We believe mediation costs should be clear from the outset. Our fees include GST, there are no hidden charges, and your first 30-minute phone consultation is free.

Initial Telephone Consultation
Free Free 30-minute consultation to discuss your situation and explore how we can help, with no obligation to proceed further.
Intake Session
$300 per person $600 total for both parties GST Included A 90-minute individual, confidential appointment with our Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) to discuss your circumstances and assess whether mediation is suitable. Includes email and phone support before and after the session, plus assessment and preparation. In Person or via Zoom: $300 per party (incl. GST)
Family Mediation - Half Day
$775 per person $1,550 total for both parties GST Included Flexible mediation options to suit your schedule, including co-mediation with both a male and female mediator upon request. We aim to schedule mediation within two weeks of your initial contact. Half-Day Session (up to 4 hours) In Person or via Zoom: $775 per party (incl. GST) Co-mediation (one female, one male mediator):additional $387.50 per party
Family Mediation - Full Day
$1,225 per person $2,450 total for both parties GST Included Flexible mediation options to suit your schedule, including co-mediation with both a male and female mediator upon request. We aim to schedule mediation within two weeks of your initial contact. Full-Day Session (up to 7 hours) In Person or via Zoom: $1,225 per party (incl. GST) Co-mediation (one female, one male mediator): Additional $612.50 per party
Section 60i Certificate
No Additional Charge If a Section 60I Certificate is required, it's provided at no additional cost as part of our commitment to transparent, straightforward pricing.
Cancellation Policy
2 Working Days Notice Cancellations made two (2) or more business days before the scheduled date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within two (2) business days of the scheduled date, or failure to attend, will incur a cancellation fee of $100 for an intake session or $200 for a mediation session, applied to the party who did not provide the required notice. The applicable cancellation fee will be deducted from the amount already paid. We will then work with both parties to reschedule the session for a mutually convenient time.
