Commercial Mediation

At Empowered Resolutions, we provide neutral and confidential mediation services tailored for commercial disputes, helping your business resolve disputes efficiently and effectively.

Find a Better Resolution and Avoid Court

Mediation is an alternative dispute resolution process where a mediator (a neutral third party) assists individuals in conflict to negotiate and reach an agreement that both parties can live with. The parties involved maintain control over the resolution's outcome throughout the process.

Our mediators facilitate constructive communication, encourage understanding and guide the parties by identifying their interests and needs. Through collaborative problem-solving methods, the parties work towards reaching an agreement.

Unlike arbitration or court proceedings, the mediator does not impose any decision upon the parties. Mediation empowers parties by providing greater control over how their dispute is viewed, managed and resolved.

Mediation allows parties to think of more flexible and creative solutions than those available in courts, tribunals or other extended negotiations.

Advantages of Commercial Mediation

Commercial mediation offers key advantages over court proceedings, including a more informal setting, quicker outcomes, and considerably lower costs.

You stay in control of decisions, and can discuss non-legal issues that courts may overlook. You are welcome to have a support person present, provided this is disclosed in advance. Agreements can be documented and made legally binding if you choose.

Mediators remain neutral but treat all parties with empathy and respect. The process is private and confidential, with a focus on making you feel prepared and supported. Any agreement reached will reflect the best interests of everyone involved.
